1. What we collect

Account information you give us (name, email, mobile number, optional profile fields), payment metadata processed by our licensed payment partners, and product usage signals such as plays, ticket purchases, memberships, votes and referrals.

2. Why we collect it

• To run your account, payments and your creator page.
• To power discovery, recommendations and your Fan Relationship dashboard.
• To keep the platform safe — fraud, abuse and copyright protection.
• To comply with applicable Indian law, including the DPDP Act.

3. Your rights under DPDP

You have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, and to nominate someone to act on your behalf. Reach our Grievance Officer through the in-app Settings → Privacy & Visibility flow, or by emailing grievance@riseupcreators.com.

4. Storage & security

Your data is stored in Mumbai (ap-south-1), encrypted at rest and in transit. Recommendations are derived live and never sold. We never ask fans for PAN, Aadhaar or any KYC.

5. Children

Members under 18 receive automatic protections (no behavioural tracking, no targeted ads, profile hidden from public discovery) and require verified parental consent in line with DPDP §9.

6. Changes

We'll let you know in-app when we make material changes to this policy. Continued use of RiseUp after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
